A kava bar built like a beach day.

Shaka Kava 772 opened in late 2024 in Lexington Plaza, on the west side of US-1 in Port St. Lucie. Robbie built it the way he'd want a bar to be: one big open room, surfboards on the ceiling, pool tables under the lights, a stage in the corner, and a bar where the kavatender knows your name by your second visit.

The kava is the point. We brew with a science-based process that pulls everything good out of the root and leaves the sediment behind, so every shell comes out cleaner, smoother and stronger than the muddy bowl you may have tried somewhere else. We pour noble strains from Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa and the Solomon Islands, and we're one of the few bars anywhere serving green kava, pressed from fresh roots that are never dried.

Free event for ages 16 and up, with live music and DJs featuring Flint Blade and Dey Shaka, fire spinning by Pyro Phoenix Entertainment, an outdoor vendor market and an indoor and outdoor costume contest. Twisting Fairy will offer fairy hair and balloon animals. Dress spooky and festive.

My favorite kava bar!!!

Always the best and we LOVE them.

I've been to a lot of places, but Shaka Kava 772 feels different. The people are genuine, the atmosphere is relaxed, and there's always something fun happening.

5 stars. ShakaKava772 is hands down one of the best chill spots in the 772. Weather its great drinks, pool, pingpong, foseball or great people it's a welcoming environment every time. It’s more than a bar it’s a community. Highly recommend.

Super cool spot! great find on my road trip

Stopped in today out of curiosity, was pleasantly surprised on how great the drinks were! The kava went down really smoothly. The variety of drinks there were amazing. This place is great and may become a new hangout spot!

Where are you?

6841 S Federal Hwy, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952, in Lexington Plaza on the west side of US-1, just south of Saint Lucie Lanes bowling alley. Look for the window lights. Parking is right out front.

When are you open?

Monday from 6 PM to 2 AM, Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 2 AM, Sunday from noon to midnight. Holiday hours are on Instagram.

I've never had kava. What is it?

Kava is a root from the South Pacific, brewed into a drink that relaxes the body and clears the head without alcohol. Ours is brewed with a science-based process, so there's no sediment and the taste is clean. Tell the kavatender it's your first time and we'll start you light.

What's a shell?

A serving of kava. Ours are 12 oz. Once you've found your strain, order a double.

Do you serve alcohol?

No. Everything on the menu is alcohol-free: kava, kratom teas, botanical teas, mocktails and coffee. You can still close the place at 2 AM.
